Well y’all, it’s finally here - and now on October 24th right here in Saginaw, we’ll get the chance to see the international Bee Gees cover stars that have been on the music scene longer than any group in pop history, and we are so excited to have them here with us, and you too! The brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb have offered an impossible challenge to those who would pay them homage... until now. Stayin' Alive, formed by Tony Mattina, Todd Sharman, and George Manz, are the next generation of Bee Gees greatness, and are traveling across the country creating lifechanging memories with some of the best songs from the group’s decades long run. The Stayin' Alive crew features a vocal trio, backed by studio musicians who’s only mission is to keep The Bee Gees alive. Stayin' Alive offers to their audiences the songs and sights of a full Bee Gees play list. Singing blockbusters such as Night Fever, Jive Talkin, How Deep Is Your Love, You Should Be Dancin, Nights On Broadway, and Stayin Alive. In addition, they perform softer poetic ballads such as I Started A Joke, Massachusetts, Fanny Be Tender, Words, and To Love Somebody, among other great hits.
And, if you’re still asking yourself, who are The Bee Gees anyway?? First - truly consider if you have actually listened to music at all in the past 50 years, and second - i’m glad you asked! The Bee Gees are the sibling trio that first began making music with each other on The Isles of Man, and then took their sound across the world as they sank into Disco and Soulful sounds. After moving to Australia around the time they formed in the late 50s, they began playing on the streets of Brisbane for money, where they gained fans and popularity around the island. They worked, they moved back to England, and they became madly successful and what feels like just overnight - soon they released their first official LP Bee Gees 1st, and the rest was history. The record debuted on charts across the world and led to international tours, and recognition in every country on the planet. This led to major hits songs from them like Stayin’ Alive, How Deep Is Your Love, Too Much Heaven, and To Love Somebody - to name a few. And we’ll hear a TON when we see the tributers live.
Stayin' Alive is the largest and most definitive production of its kind, offering big screen video clips, photos and dazzling imagery. Stayin' Alive has played intimate settings as a six piece band and huge venues with a 62 piece orchestra. They’ve mastered their live shows, their online performances, and their SOUND too - so now, all we need is you for the best night ever!
Convinced yet?! Good! We were hoping for that. Grab your tickets now, and check out the video we linked below if you’re still wondering what to expect. Then send it to all your friends, and let’s enjoy the party! See you soon on the dance floor!
